<p class="p_Normal">Clipboard Compare runs in the background, keeping track of every time the Windows clipboard is updated with text. It appears in the Windows notification area.</p>

<p class="p_Normal">Click on its icon to show a list of the most recent clipboard entries.</p>

<p class="p_Normal">You can right-click on a clipboard entry and pick <span class="f_Command">Save As...</span> to create a new text file. <span class="f_Command">Delete</span> and <span class="f_Command">Open With Text Edit</span> are also available.</p>
<p class="p_Normal">You can <a href="bcclipoptions.html" class="topiclink">configure</a> Ctrl+Alt+C as the keyboard shortcut used to open a text comparison of the two most recent clipboard entries.</p>
<p class="p_Normal"><img width="12" height="12" style="margin:0;width:12px;height:12px;border:none" src="note.png"/><span class="f_Subtitle">Note </span>Deleting clipboard entries from the list does not affect the Windows clipboard.</p>
